The “path to certification” for Additive Manufacturing (AM) can seem a daunting task. It requires knowledge of not only the certification landscape and processes involved but an appreciation for industry related codes, standards and regulations which are largely absent for AM. Mapping the routes to certification can also be considerably time-consuming.

AMable aims to support SMEs towards certification through a set of targeted services. We are seeking expression of interests from European SME’s and Mid-Caps to test-flight these services with us. Find our flyer about the topic here.

Do you have an interest in certifying an AM process/component? Then, this is the right programme for you.

Successful applicants will have access to one-on-one tailored consultancy and/or workshops/training for their specific AM certification needs. These will all be run by AMable partners with relevant expertise in certification and training.

How the AM Certification Knowledge Support could help your business:

• Support mapping of the supply chain and manufacturing chain requirements
• Provide training or a workshop on qualification and certification
• Assessment and review of current quality assurance practices
• Review of facilities and procedures

Interested parties will be required to fill in an online-form to assess suitability of the proposed product and timeframe, compatibility with expertise from within the AMable consortium and expected impacts of the work. All effort will be funded through the AMable project. Any time needed from the SME is not included. Feedback relating to the knowledge support impacts will be required for reporting purposes.
